back from overseas, shanghai. well actually it was not only shanghai lah, afterall its an 8day trip, whats there to see for 8days at shanghai? went to many other places like suzhou, nanjing, wuxi, hangzhou, hengdian, yi wu. many nice scenery and old architecture to see, but i'm lazy to write all out in detail and i dont think anyone would wanna read about the long trip. lol. i can only say that the food there is super salty and oily too-.- my bro got sick because of that too lol. that shanghai building with the 3 balls is really cool and the shopping's great but gosh, the cars there is really crazy, they say people have to leave 2 hours before their working time. wow.
suzhou's really less hectic and the silk there is famous, my mum bought alot and i just slept on it last night.
nanjing was alright but our tourguide there impressed us alot cos he's very well learned and mannered, my parents like him alot lol. oh but the old palace gate is damn cool.
wuxi had a tourguide with really long hair and moustache lol, nothing much but the da zha xie there is nice.
hangzhou was nice cos of the show we watched at night about shaolin gongfu and many other stuff, almost everytime go china also have these kind of shows. haha.
hengdian had a old place made in replica of the palace in beijing, it was used to shoot movies and dramas like 'The Curse of the Golden Flower'. cool. andand the crew of that show left the giant shields which was used to push the soldiers back in the show and they showed how it was done cos it wasnt real manpower to push the giant shields. andand guess what, we stayed in the same hotel as wangleehom. wangleehom lehhhhh wdh. not as in he stayed before in that hotel, i mean he was staying there at the same time when we were staying too, he was there to shoot a commercial for macdonalds lol. he was staying at level 4 while we were at level 3, the whole hotel only has 4 levels lol. but its very very wide. so it still has a great amount of rooms.
yi wu was super good for shopping for souvenirs and gifts.
then we went back to shanghai for the last day where we got foot massage and stuff. haha.
yeah thats about it for the trip, quite fun overall.
ohoh and we bought lots of expensive jewellery lah, cos we went to many jewellery shops like those that sells jade, pearls, diamonds. then there was this particular shop that the young master of that famous jewellery shop was a singaporean so he gave us lots of discount. my dad bought like blue sapphire ring and my mum bought a whole set of ruby stuff like necklace earrings and rings. my mum bought like 4 jades too. lol. spent lots. haha.
